Tulsa Remote is building and fostering a thriving remote work community in Tulsa. We offer resources to help newcomers thrive, an active and supportive community, and $10,000 to help you make Tulsa your new home.
You must meet five eligibility requirements to submit an application and be considered for the Tulsa Remote Program:
You are at least 18 years of age
You are authorized to work in the United States
You currently have full-time, remote employment
You can relocate to Tulsa within 12 months of approval
You have lived outside of Oklahoma for one full year before applying
If you meet the eligibility requirements listed above, the next step is to complete an application.
We ask that you please submit your application in the English language to ensure the accurate and timely review of our application, which we will strive to review within four weeks of submission.
If you are selected for the next round of reviews, you’ll be invited to a 30-minute virtual interview with a member of the Tulsa Remote staff. Please note that interviews will be conducted in the English language.
We look forward to learning more about you and your interest in Tulsa. During the interview, you will have the opportunity to ask any questions you may have about the program, the Tulsa Remote community, and our wonderful city.
Within two weeks of your interview, you’ll receive an update on your application status. If you are selected to move forward at this stage, you’ll be required to complete a background check and income verification before we continue the process. This can take up to three weeks from the time you initiate your background check.
Once you’re approved, there is a 12-month window to move to Tulsa. When you’re settled, we’ll work with you to (1) verify you’ve signed a qualifying lease or purchased a qualifying home, and (2) ensure you’ve attended a new member orientation.
After that, you’ll be eligible to start receiving grant money.
